World Kidney Day 2026

Last March 12, 2026, the Philippine Society of Nephrologist celebrated their annual World Kidney Day. at the Marikina City Sports Complex. I was one of the attendees being a patient. I was with my co-members of the Camarin Doctors Diabetes Club. We were about 10 from our club. 5 of us which they called Team Deparo cause we are all residing in Deparo, met at the Shell Gas Station at around 4:00 o'clock in the morning. We left a little past 4am.
We participated in the fun run activity at 7:30 then the lectures at 9am. Then went home around 1pm.
During the activities, we had breakfast which consisted of boiled egg, boiled banana and taho. Our snacks - chicken sandwich. Lunch - beef caldereta and fried tofu. I only ate the beef as I don't like tofu.
That was it. I really enjoyed the activities and I have learned so much about our kidneys.
