Has this week been all over the place with you like it has me? I tell you what, it's been 1 thing after another with the weather & the tree I've been TRYING to get down, but it's been a mess. We've lost 2 wks in trying to get the tree down, we got the $ he wanted to DO the job & he'd set up a date then had to cancel it to set up another date, then he came out cut what he could in like 4 hrs & stopped said he was going to get the crane, o.k. he said he was on his way back with the crane & something on the road hit the truck underneath & messed up the transmission GREAT ! ! ! This was on a Friday, we'll be out there Saturday NOPE couldn't get the truck fixed we'll be there Monday yeah. Well Monday isn't going to be any good cause there's going to be MORE bad if not WORSE weather for the NEXT 3 days & Thursday I have lab work I have to get done at the hosp, so that blows ANOTHER week in the head for 5.000 $ it sure isn't getting a tree down, it's giving me a headache & lots of grey hair. I sure will be glad when it's down & out of the way & OVER with so I can look forward to getting that area cleaned up & on to other things, like getting the siding & awning on the area of the cabin where I can set my pond back up again & get all THAT done with. Then work on getting the awning over the front part of the cabin where we can have a place to park the car & work under. We have a lot of work to do & never enough time for NONE of it.

The best laid plans of mice and men.. Or something like that Who would have thought a tree saga could go on so long

I never thought 1 job of taking a tree down would take damn near 3 wks cause of the weather, the road accidents, other stuff coming up, every excuse that holds 1 job up.

You right about that & makes you wonder if the people doing the job is really serious about getting the job done in the 1st place. I'm also wondering if they are going to cut me a break on taking so long it took to get it down, THAT would be nice & save me a 1.000.$ that would go towards our Fla trip.

It seems like there is never enough time to do what you want to do.
