A US District judge has blocked school districts in Arkansas from displaying the Ten Commandments

The article says "some school districts" but doesn't make it clear why it is just some and not all of them. Maybe it is because they are the ones who brought the lawsuit?
Anyway it is becoming a thing in some southern states to require the display of the Ten Commandments and even at least one copy of the Bible in each classroom. That of course is completely inappropriate in public schools which are secular.
Of course people say "bring religion back into schools!" but conveniently it is always some version of Christianity. Why is that always the religion? What about Judaism? Islam? Hinduism? Bhuddism? Why is Christianity considered superior to the other major world religions?
Religion has no place in public schools. There is enough division among students. Why make those who don't subscribe to one religion feel like outsiders or that they are doing something wrong?
This judge got it right.

Can we get rid of all the gay, lesbian, bi and trans shite as well.
Get rid of the rainbows
Let teach straight is great.
I'm not religious
I pulled my 4 year old son from a school where they pushed " god" on the kids at 4 years old
All things bright and beautiful,
Is that right

Not it's not
We need to get all this crap out of our schools,
Kids can learn about all this gay and lesbian stuff when they are older
It's shoved down their throats here just like god is and it's all got to stop
Giving boys lessons in putting on nail polish , playing dressy up, it's mental
So we will agree on the religious thong
And have to have different views on straight is great
Different countries, different cultures

@Ineeddentures I don't know what they teach in Scotland but no one at my school is teaching about "gay and lesbian stuff". They aren't teaching ANYONE to put on nail polish. That just isn't a thing.

You're right. Public schools are secular.
