Relaxing at the beach

Living alone can be lonely at times, but I’m grateful for my proximity to the beach. It’s a place where I can unwind whenever I need to, especially when I’m feeling stressed. This was something I couldn’t enjoy while I was living in the city. I had to travel for two hours or more just to see a view like this. Now, I don’t have to worry about it. I can go whenever I’m not working. I ordered fresh coconut juice and am waiting for it to be prepared. I’ll stay here until 5 p.m. with my two dogs. They love the beach too! Hehe. Do you like going to the beach to relax?

@freelancermariagrace We don't have them here, not in my part of WA anyway so I tend to forget about how scary they must be.

@JudyEv Good to hear that. Typhoon season here is quite frightening because of the flooding, leptospirosis cases, and whatnot.

Yes, it is. However, it can be quite scary during typhoon season.

I grew up 5 minutes from a lovely sandy beach When I was homeless I pitched my tent near a lovely sandy beach I love the beach. I bet the dogs love the beach just as much as you do.

That’s great! I bet you’re a good swimmer. Hehe The dogs love the beach as much as I do, so I make sure to bring them along. They really love running in the sand!

@Ineeddentures I may not be a strong swimmer, but I still love the beach. However, I’m hesitant about island hopping because I’m afraid of drowning if the boat capsizes.Hehe

@freelancermariagrace I used to be a good swimmer Not so sure now But I would still be able to swim well enough so as I would not drown The beach is great for dogs to run on and burn off loads of energy, dogs need to do that

I don’t live near a beach although I’ve visited beaches several times during my life. I’m more of a mountain person, but I do appreciate the beauty of the ocean. I’m glad you can be where you love.

It’s summertime here, and people usually flock to this place to relax and enjoy the Holy week. However, I’m not sure if it will be the same as the past few years because of the soaring petrol prices.
