How Fast Can You Type? / myLot

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Do you know how fast you can type? How about how accurately? Have you ever taken a typing test? My son has done it for his computer class and he has asked me to race him and see who is faster. I have to tell him every time that I have been typing for over 20 years lol. As you can see in the screenshot I took a 1 minute typing test and got 58 words with 98% accuracy. If you want to test it out for yourself, there are different websites for that I am sure. I"m guessing around 80 wpm. Possibly more.

I never know how fast I type generally I never look at the keyboard, I just look at the screen and what I'm going to type.

After university, without knowing what kind of job I would get, I took typing classes and learned the keyboard and I can type, knowing where the letters are, and fairly fast.

I took a typing course in high school as an elective. I forgot how many words I was able to type in a minute, but do remember getting 100% accuracy and winning 1st place. I think I can type 1 word an hour now
