How do you pick yourself up when you're down?

There was a period in my life when I was so down and at that moment I felt like I had no one else in life. Then I decided to rummage through my stuff, found a crochet hook and some old yarns and started crocheting. I bought more yarns and started feeling better. My friends noticed how I had isolated myself. One day they picked me up in my home and we drove to this inland resort with a beautiful garden. A garden that has a mirror in the middle of it. The top I'm wearing in the photo is one I made two years ago.

That’s a beautiful picture, and it looks like a lovely top. I’m so glad you found something so fulfilling.

The hair accessory I was wearing was also crocheted by me. I'm really grateful I got hooked to crocheting. I will try to attach a photo of a closer look of the top and the headband.

You have quite a talent at crocheting, I wish that I could learn how to crochet, but it seems like I cannot hold the hook properly as I have tried. The picture is bright and beautiful. When I am down, I typically turn to retail therapy and when that doesn't work, I stay in and keep to myself.

I isolate myself too when I feel down. And books is one of my source to get back on track. Even from a far the top you made looks pretty, I love the color of it.
