Cooked for tomorrow’s meal

Since I’m feeling quite energetic today, I decided to prepare some food for my lunch tomorrow. I still have leftover food from yesterday, which I’ll reheat tomorrow, along with the food I cooked today. I made this decision because I plan to study tomorrow and clean my apartment. I plan to declutter and do the laundry. I don’t want to get too tired tomorrow since I have many other things to do in the coming days. I cooked fish that will complement the shabu-shabu I made yesterday. Hehe. Do you also prepare meals in advance sometimes?

Yes, I do for days when I have other plans or chores to do. I don't want to be over exhausted or rush. At least, I will do all the preparation that saves tike on cooking. I am a morning lark. I cook something for dinner before leaving for work. I want to relax in the evening and only heat and eat. What is Shabu Shabu? It's the first time that I heard it. Curious to know.

It is a Japanese-style hot pot which involves cooking vegetables like carrots and potatoes, as well as slices of meat, in a flavorful broth. The name “Shabu-shabu” is derived from the distinctive swishing sound produced by the meat as it moves through the water.

I often prepare enough for two days so I don’t have to cook every day. What is shabu-shabu ?

I don’t anymore, but I used to. You’re wise to plan ahead.

I used to when I was working, and when I have guests, I prepare as much as possible the day before they arrive. It’s a smart thing to do when you know you will be busy or tired

If you plan a busy day, it's really helpful not to have to prepare meals as well.

Yes, I prepare some meals in advance sometimes. I like it when I have leftover food so I can freeze it for the next time when I don’t like to cook.
