Second hand vs Brand new / myLot

There is this legal pride that resides in my heart when I use or own something as the first hand. From gadgets like phones and items like farm tools to clothes - name them! I feel proud when I am the first user. But as a matter of fact, most brand new things are usually expensive. So I therefore find myself going for more second hand items m than brand new ones. Not just because of the price, but some are of better quality than brand new ones! I believe some of you have at some point opted for second hand items not because they are cheap, but they are durable and reliable than some which are straight from manufacturers. Examples are Toys, Furniture, Clothing, Farm equipment and even cars!

We often go for second-hand because of the cost of new items. It does depend on what you're buying as you don't want to buy someone else's problems.

We buy a few seconds hand items. Especially if they are like brand new and really cheap

When it comes to clothes, it doesn’t really make me feel any different to have second hand items. That being said, I don’t really have an occasion to get second hand clothing any more. And for years, I had a second hand cell phone and didn’t think a thing of it. My car, also, is used. But things like shoes, or dishes or jewelry I greatly like and appreciate being new.

Second hand items are pretty good to have at home since they usually lasts longer.

I don't mind getting something second-hand, if it is clean and in good shape. I've gotten some great clothing items before from thrift stores or from trading with friends. As the youngest of four kids, I grew up wearing hand-me-downs anyway, and it never bothered me, probably because Mom always made sure I had some new things, too. I always got new clothes when the new school year started.

I buy second-hand or preloved items and go to thrift stores. It really just depends on the item, if I like it and it’s worth it, I’ll buy it.
