How do you host your friends on a tight budget

I have friends that I haven't seen for a while which I have decided to hang out with this weekend specifically today. But I don't have much on me but just want to host them a bit. How can I do this with the little money I have?

I have no idea how much things cost where you are or what a host there would do to entertain people If money was really tight, I wouldn't be hosting anyone

@augusta123 Well I don't know because I suppose we are quite wealthy. It's been a long time since I had to budget You could just invite them to your home and serve tea and a snack
