The plants are visiting the garden today ….. !

We went to the garden centre a few weeks ago and got some plants. We have had to keep them in the carport, which is as warm as a greenhouse, we have tended them and I have talked to them ….The Mister rolls his eyes at me doing that, as he doesn’t believe it makes a difference ….thats okay, me and my little petalled friends know better !
This morning we decided that we should start putting them in the garden for a few hours to get them used to our amazing British climate !
So, I promptly put trays of plant pots on the lawn ….they seem happy enough.
I will bring them in at teatime.

I'm not a gardener. I'm too old to tend a garden now anyway. Hubs and I had a garden many years ago. All I did was weed, weed, weed. Good luck with yours.

There is a show called Mythbusters that aired here for about 12 years. They did an experiment on talking to plants, playing music to plants, and silence for the last group of plants. The plants that got music did the best, followed by the plants that were talked to. The control group that got no sound did the worst. Each set of plants got the same amount of water and sun.

There is a sitcom here about a couple who give up working for others and live a life of self sufficiency …they did the same experiment ….findings were the same.

the reaction of people not use seeing someone talking to a plant. I did experience that too. Haha
But overtime I'm use to it beside I'm not doing it alone my younger brother does it too. Like how we talk to cats, dogs, turtles, chicken and more of pets and animals. 
I plant fruit trees, we do have flower plants too.
My brothers like farming and poultry, then sometimes I join them.

I prefer flowers to gadnering cause am still considering both of them.
