Wow, this song is 50 years old. That means the album is 50 years old. You know something? To me, this 50-year-old album still sounds great! You may remember this from my 100 favorites list. It’s back! Here’s today’s classic. #10: Here Come Those Tears Again - Jackson Browne Jackson Browne’s mother-in-law wrote the poem that became the lyrics to this song. And the song was written before Browne’s wife committed suicide in March 1976. This was Browne’s second top 40 hit. I’m still upset that this didn’t have the commercial success of “Lawyers in Love” or “Somebody’s Baby,” two of his worst singles in my opinion. But it’s all my opinion. I’ll stick with this gem.
