Pressure Pushing Down on Me

Are you proud of musical reference @FourWalls ? Well, those lyrics came to mind when I had a sinus headache that then seemed to morph into a migraine. Ya’ll should have seen me putting magnesium cream all over my head, my face, around the eyes (I’m careful), on my neck…it did nothing for sinus pain or migraine pain. And yes, I am still taking the magnesium pills too. I have no desire to end up in the ER again. Do you get sinus headaches? What happens to you when the weather changes like it has recently? More aches, pains, and medication bills?

This is our sinus…under pressure. Nice going! Oh, yes, I have sinus problems. In fact, they didn’t like my last sinus x-ray so I’m going to the ENT doctor next week.

@FourWalls Oh. Annoying, but not too bad, right?

Did they give any indication what they think will be found?

@AmbiePam — nothing serious, just “more gooped up.” I might have to go back on allergy shots.

Magnesium cream doesn't leave you groggy? I have cut way way back on magnesium anything cause it leaves me so exhausted. I wish you could some relief.

The only time Magnesium made me sleepy was when I knew if I went to the hospital all they would is give me Magnesium I took 1,200mg of it throughout the day. That was the only time it made me sleepy.

@sallypup That is a lot of magnesium, but when I’ve been at the ER they gave me even more than that because it has been so low. You might try a magnesium roll on. You might be able to get less on you, and it not put you into such a deep sleep to end up groggy.

@AmbiePam That's a lot of magnesium. I have spray that I use to help me sleep deeper. I can't use it much because it really leaves an after effect.

Yes I do but not severe ones. But I have very high tolerance for pain and never take meds for headaches. I use essential oils. I combine lavender with peppermint in my diffuser and it makes me feel better.

I tried essential oils, but they didn’t do anything for my migraines . I lose my vision and throw up and dry heave so bad the capillaries in my face burst. I look absolutely ridiculous after a four day migraine. It’s embarrassing.

I used to have those miserable things that took sometimes all day to go away but since i came to Florida, I no longer get them but in the morning at times I have to blow my nose a lot to clear it out.

I do get sinus headaches. My biggest problem as of late is my eczema. I wish that it would go into remission. My arm, between my elbow and wrist is terrible looking, I have a patch on my lower and upper back and a spot on my left cheek. I must have scratched it in my sleep last night, and it looks like I was hit there. I put something on it to speed up the healing. I hope that your headaches go into a sort of remission as well as my skin issues.

When I get sinus headaches, I take some aspirin to get rid of the dizzy spells.

No, I have not experienced sinus headache. When the weather changes, my mood changes too and so I watch something funny on you tube or Netflix. It helps.

When weather changes, people normally get sick. I sometimes do. I don't usually get headaches.

Yes, change in weather and barometric pressure triggers migraines in me. I have rescue pills to take for migraines and they work within 30 minutes and I avoid the nausea and long-term migraine.
