A bystander assisted a driver who was driving his or her auto on Indian Creek Road in Chesapeake Virginia on Wednesday drove the auto into a culvert.
The gender of the bystander was not released to the public entered into the water where the auto was submerged to get the driver out safe and sound when the Chesapeake Police Department arrived.
The driver of the auto was taken by an ambulance to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center to be evaluated for injuries that happened in the accident.
Both the bystander and the driver did not suffer any serious injuries. The auto was taken out of the culvert by a tow truck.
Nice to see that a stranger assisted a driver who could have suffered a tragic end on a road in Chesapeake Virginia.

@Deepizzaguy Do you think you could get out of a van submerged in water? I don’t think I could.

Well the gender doesn't matter lol but it would be nice to know if it was a man or a woman
The culvert is water ,
The car would be ruined

I am a weak swimmer, and would have thought twice before entering such a waterway to rescue someone, where I could have drowned too. The water does not look that deep though, but even so, the bystander did a brave act to rescue the driver of the car like that.
