Egg and cress rolls for lunch …..

The Mister had got some really nice golden yolk eggs and I just fancied egg and cress ….
I was out in town today so I popped into the supermarket and got a punnet of cress and some white rolls.
I hard boiled a couple of the eggs when I got home and added some mayo , salt and freshly ground black pepper …..and hey presto …a quick and easy, and very tasty lunch.
I will give the rest of the cress to Mom so that she can have egg and cress sandwiches at the weekend.
One punnet is too big for each of us so it’s good to be able to share.
I did buy a packet of seeds last week so I intend growing my own ….mustard, a bit bigger than cress.

I have that sometimes , I like grated cheese with the egg on a salad.
I also like warm potatoes with my salad.

I have just had roast beef for tea …..not very hungry so just had the beef in a little gravy and mustard on the side.
Mac and cheese is becoming very popular here now and is often found on pub restaurants.

I love quick and easy. We often have sandwiches for lunch.
