How’s life where you are right now?

With everything going on in the world lately, especially the recent conflicts and wars, I’ve been wondering how everyone here on MyLot is doing in their part of the globe. Even if we’re far from where these events are happening, it feels like the effects are reaching us in different ways.
Here on my side, we’re starting to feel it more seriously. There’s already a kind of power crisis affecting many people. Rising oil prices are hitting hard, especially for jeepney drivers who rely on fuel for their daily income. Because of this, fares are going up, and commuters are also struggling with higher transportation costs. It’s becoming harder for both drivers and passengers just to get through the day.
It really shows how global events can directly affect everyday life, even in places not directly involved.

Hello there, Im from the Philippines and as of now, high costs of essentials is very nerve wracking. Everybody is affected. I hope the next to increase is salary. So that we can make both ends meet.

I just hope things won’t get worse, because it’s already adding to the other problems in the country.
Right now, jeepney drivers are really affected, and there’s a domino effect, especially in transportation. Commuters are struggling too, with fewer rides and difficulty getting around, even in metro transit.

I hope they can make an alternative silution to the problem. I heard sone companies are going back to the work from home style of work .And some implement the 4days work in offices.

i don't like reading that due to war in iran, food costs will get bigger and we'll get more expensive food to pay. i wish we have better resourcers and not everything connected to wars, especially to wars that are not ours.

I feel terribly for so many people trying to make ends meet. It’s hard in America, so I know it must be difficult elsewhere as well. The price of everything, especially food, is my biggest problem. Last night I was ordering groceries to be delivered, and couldn’t believe the few things I ordered could cost SO much.

Still hanging. MY only prayer is that God will strengthen me and will not let me dwell in fear and worry.

Life has become more challenging these days. For instance, I recently visited the grocery store, and I noticed that some items have already seen an increase in their prices.

Apart from the increased price of petrol which is not an issue Trumps illegal war against Iran has made no difference to me at all.

Praying that this crisis will end the soonest, if it keeps going, for sure everything and everyone will be greatly affected. There had been news in our area of power interruption by April.
God is in control, and He will surely take care of us.
