Is it really Wednesday?

This is my second day of morning pool exercise. Now that I am done with that for the week it feels like Friday. Beau Teak kitty was clingy in the night and I didn't sleep well again so a nap is on my horizon. A chair nap. I don't go into Walmart's physical store but once a year or so I do spot something on its website that I really need. This morning the needed item arrived. I ordered five metal fence panels. They are decorative and black and not too flimsy. Each panel stands about two feet high. Just high enough to be a pain for dogs to jump over. I needed fencing for the front iris bed. Somebody smashed some of the iris greens just poking up from the dirt. It looks like there will still be a goodly amount that will be able to bloom in a few weeks. I had flower pots around the bed but obviously somebody jumped off the front steps and had too much fun. Pushing the fencing into the dirt was my project this morning. It's noon and time for a bean and cheese burrito.

How frustrating that must be. My husband is usually the culprit in my flower beds. Yes, I have banned him. Have a nice rest.

Thanks @DianneN. I also have perennial geraniums by my chain link fence. I may end up buying more of these panels for that area.

@sallypup I must look up perennial geraniums. Those panels sound like a good idea. They look good and can protect your pretty flowers.

@DianneN Perennial geraniums are a ground cover plant/flower. They're not the red flowers my Mom bought in the Fall. These geraniums have delicate cup like flowers, some lavenderish and some pink.

Who would have done that to the iris greens?

Just now
@Ineeddentures Rufus is a strong minded dog- maybe neutered too late in life? (He's adopted so I don't know his real age.) He can be tough on other dogs though I think he and Moxe are now bonded. He still chases and hassles and plays too hard. Moxe gets upset and zooms around and ends up digging and crashing into the chain link fence. So yes, she has done property damage at other times.

Was it a four legged individual who decided to stomp your beds? If so, tell them that is quite naughty!

It's 5:20 pm and we're just now getting home from a full day of errands and taking care of the mother in law with Alzheimers.

@LooeyVille My heart goes out to you. My Mom had dementia in her last years. Those were tough times.
