Why did it hurt so bad?

Third night in a row that I had a not so good dream.
This time it was about a guy. My sister told me she had been writing to this man whom she plan to marry. She made a vivid description of the man and it was the man I had been in love with for 13 years!
I was so hurt so I called the guy. There was no denial on his part. I couldn't believe he did it!
Me and my brother went with my sister coz he was going to meet this guy in person in a hotel for dinner. The guy didn't show up. It was a scam! He pretended to be someone else to make my sister fall for him so he could take money from her!
Didn't force myself to wake up this time. I felt heartbroken though.
Guess this is the effect of being under the weather!

I think so too. It was just a dream anyway that's far from reality.

It didn't affect me upon waking up. It was something that's just impossible to happen anyway.

I wasn't sad at all when I woke up because it's just something that's impossible. But in my dreams I was really hurt.
