Who Cheat? Who?

Oh! There's no cheating involved, my father is just too handsome that he produce so many kids. Lol! Oftentimes, when people learned I have a half siblings and I'm younger than them. The confusion, the worries, the curiosity and hesitation to ask was obviously written all over their faces. So instead of explaining the whole family history. Lol! I tend to joke at first, for them to feel at ease. And that works! Awkward moment close and they start asking comfortably. Do you also use humor to break awkward situations or do you prefer explaining right away?

I never tell anyone who is not close to me anything about my family.

That's understandable as well. Especially if the person asking is a complete stranger and it feels uncomfortable.

My grandfather is so handsome he has too many children with three women. What's amazing is that two out of those three women are siblings. Yes, he has children with the two sisters and they ll live in the same house. All siblings are get along well anyway. And other than the children with three woman, He has other children from other places that we aren't aware about, but heard there might just be. He looked like an actor in his younger days. A Spanish actor. And he was the town's mayor.

@toniganzon that's the consequences of his own action. He can't escape gossips. Glad his other sibling didn't do the same. Because not all wife or kids could accept that.

Back in the days that has been a tradition or someone is just capable having a large family. Reminds me one of my father sibling which is my uncle because he often shared he has a lot child but never did introduce to us so even now we don't have any idea about his other kids. As to tradition I know my great grandfather as a head of a tribe it has been practice and it's okay to them to have many wives. Glad my father didn't adapt to that kind of tradition. It just happened he becomes a widower at the very young age and have kids then he met a woman who he remarried and that's my mother.

My mom would have kicked my dad to the curb if he had had children with other women. Infidelity isn’t amusing to me. Now, if the person is single at the time, that is totally different. I too, use humor to break awkward situations as well.

Who wouldn't kick anyone cheating or having kids to others. I will too. I do despise infidelity. That's why I'm happy that my father didn't adapt to the tradition being practice by the elders of their tribes. My father happened becomes a widower and since he was allowed by his kids to remarry again after years gone by. That makes the whole fam becomes bigger.

We are very private here about family matters, people ask nothing and we say nothing.

I do as well but it was all started at school. Haha When the teacher ask how many siblings I have? It complicate when I said different number from what my elder brother said to the teacher. So it becomes simpler when I said my father is handsome. Hahaha

Yes! That's the real confidence. That's the very reason I tell them my father is handsome. Hahaha And it's up to them how they take my answer or just end up creating scenarios with their head. Lol!
