The growing loneliness pandemic worldwide

March 26, 2026 3:02am CST
There seems to be a growing trend worldwide these days and that is the loneliness pandemic. Seems many people no longer find dating easy or they just dont find the challenges necessary. What other things could have caused this and what could be the solution? Getting an AI girlfriend is even funny.

I think our happiness is not based on finding a partner, but finding the happiness in our current season as singles, and the very important thing is finding happiness in the source of joy and happiness, which is God. I think without finding that happiness from the creator and contentment in your season, even if you find someone else it will never fill that loneliness forever.

While the internet and social media can make us closer in some ways, I think it also fosters loneliness. It often highlights what we are missing when we see happy families all over the online landscape while we depend on AI to keep us occupied. Or, we get so addicted to technology we neglect our offline friends and we lose them and find ourselves falling deeper into the digital rabbit hole. We all need to have connections with real people and real relationships. Of course, I also firmly believe the loneliness we feel can only really be eradicated when we invited the Holy Spirit into our lives. However, people mostly don’t want to hear that part.

As a man, you face challenges everywhere. I think what you just have to when challenges come, you have to stay calm, think of a solution and also seek professional help if needed.
