The Orphan's Daughter is one of those books that just pulls you in and doesn't let go. From the very beginning, I felt completely connected to the main character, Nora, and everything she was going through. Her strength, even when life kept knocking her down, really stuck with me. The story does such a good job of showing how complicated family, identity and belonging can be, and it made me stop and think more than once. I also loved how emotional it was without feeling over the top. It felt real like something that could actually happen.
What I appreciated most was how hopeful the book felt, even during the hardest moments. Its the kind of story that reminds you that people can survive so much and still find their way. The writing is easy to get into and before I knew it I was completely immersed into the story.
This book deals with strong women, family secrets and fining where you truly belong. It is definitely one of those books worth reading.

@Ciclis I love talking about books. I've yet to listen to one but have switched from my hardcover ones to my Kindle. This way I can download them, adjust the font and not have bookshelves loaded with books.

@Marilynda1225 I love the audiobooks and they've got me quite hooked! I've been meaning to try Kundle but I haven't yet. Something to put on my bucket list!
