I just finished Somebody Knows by Pamela Ungashick, and honestly it was a good and horrible book rolled into one. The story has this quiet intensity to it - like something isn't right beneath the surface and you can feel it the whole time. I actually wasn't planning on finishing it untisl this morning while we are at my husbands dr appointments, but I had to know the ending so I was up until just a little bit after midnight finishing it.

What really got me was how easy it wtheto get wrapped up in the whole story. While the story didn't rush, and in stories this long, sometimes you just give up becausre it drones itself on and on, it never felt boring either.
The main characters-Audrey and mother-were quite intense but it was that intensity that kept me listening
NOW FOR A SPOILER ALERT
Mother got exactly what she deserved.

I do enjoy a good read but hate when the author drags it all out. I'm glad the mother got 'just what she deserved'.

Sounds like it could be good.I am reading a Kindle book that I don't like too much..but I guess I am somewhat invested in it. I want to read a James Patterson book next..the one he wrote with Bill Clinton. I might start that tonight.
