Lost Gifts

When I was a primary school student, all the male members of my family - my father, elder brothers and all our elderly neighbours would sleep near a huge banyan tree in front of my house.
Lying on my bed I would keep watching the star studded sky. My elder brother would tell me about the sun, the moon, the stars and sometimes about our great heros and our freedom fighters.
When was the last time you saw a wonderful rainbow streching from one end of the sky to the other ??
I have not seen those wonderful things for a long time.
Also, I have not heard the chirping of sparrows perching on the branches of the banyan tree.
The sky is no longer blue. It now looks black or gloomy.
We have lost all those wonderful gifts.

Thank you. Yes, it is still there. But sparrows, kites, vultures and other birds are rarely seen now. I'm told mobile towers are to be blamed for it

@valherma00 I am told mobile towers are the culprits. It is these towers that force the birds to live a place.HoweverbI don't know if it's true.
