In Bengal banana pith or banana stem called thor is cooked as lovely vegetable. From outside it looks white. From inside it is brownish and it is cooked and eaten with rice. Banana as a plant has every produce useful including the fruits and banana flower called mocha.

The banana flower Mocha, is good in Curry Had it years ago and it was really good
