Do you ever get messages that make you wonder...?

Every single one of us gets messages from people every day. Some are expected, some are welcome… and others, well—not so much.
Today, I got one that definitely fell into that last category.
Someone messaged me and basically told me I didn’t deserve to be on the medication I’m taking—the same medication I fought for years to get approved through insurance, just to improve my quality of life.
This person had the audacity to tell me my doctors were wrong. That I’m not old enough. That I’m not in enough pain.
I can’t believe that someone who barely knows anything about me thinks they have the right to decide what’s best for me.
Have you ever gotten a message like that from someone?

I have never ever had a message like that April.
I would have deleted the message and blocked the sender

Are you taking the medication as directed and prescribed by a doctor? If so, then it doesn't matter what the person said who messaged you.

Yes. There’s a lot of the medications that I’m prescribed that i really wish I didn’t have to take but here we are

@thislittlepennyearns I used to be so against medications, thinking that they ultimately cause more problems than they help. But the technology in medicines is getting so advanced that I now think the good the medicines do outweigh any risks that they may entail. Plus, as I get older I'm actually going to start needing all those medications myself!

They don’t and they don’t. Need to know my story to justify why I’m on medication.
