I am definitely an introvert, but I'm not shy with strangers. My introvertedness is more to do with needing to be by myself for a while to relax and recharge. I like being with other folks for a while,, but my "social battery" gets drained. My husband is like this, too, and I think it's the main reason we didn't have kids.

@augusta123 yes, my husband is like that. He is a very nice person and gets along well with people, but he doesn't have any friends that he spends time with. He likes going places with me, at least.

I am an introvert, but nothing as severe as I used to be. Going to college at 16 forced me to talk more, and then I got very sick, and had to talk to dozens of doctors. All of that together got me more comfortable talking to others, and being able to communicate effectively.

I can only express myself to those I'm familiar with.

'm introvert or half.introvert. i hate when strangers ask me personal question and i don't confide easilty to people; i was also hurt many times in the past, fake friends, fake family members and such. i am the happiest person when noone is around or a very small group of people.
