Good evening, myLot!

Here in my part of myLot land, it's 6:34 p.m. Went to work today, and again when I tried to call a Lyft they didn't accept my card. Thankfully, I remembered that I had my bank debit card, so I tried using it, and it worked. I got to work, and things went okay until I was handed the "CSR" board, which is something where teachers mark which children are there every half hour, when they leave and who with, and if they leave for a special class and come back (that's a short explination). I have a hard enough time with the board that's meant for the children I work with, but I was handed a board for children I don't usually work with at all. I had to go around asking teachers if they knew if so-and-so was still there, and if they were could the teacher please point them out. Later in the day I was thirsty, so I got a can of this "healthy" soda out of the fridge. One of the teachers saw me with it (already opened and partly drunk) and said, "Where did you get that?" I told her the fridge, and she told me it was hers. Oops. She said it was okay, but I didn't feel like it was. Either before that, or after I was coming out of our building and I fell. I was already sore from the walk yesterday, now I'm definitely going to be sore tomorrow. Oh--lastly, as my co worker was driving me home, I realized I didn't have my phone. She said it was no problem, and that as soon as she picked up another teacher, at a different school, we'd go back and get it. Sigh. Like a friend of mine used to say, "Some days are like that." I hope that your morning/afternoon/evening/has gone well in your part of myLot land!

Maybe you bring some healthy soda to work too so you’ll have something for yourself. Or, maybe there’s something else that sounds good you can bring. People can tell me water is the healthiest, but sometimes a girl’s got to have some flavor! Seriously though, you are right. Some days are just like that.

I enjoyed my day working at home sharing news stories and completing surveys.
