For me, it would have to be Abacha. I first tasted it when my late grandmother prepared it for dinner. It was really delicious and tasty. This particular dish is made shredded cassava flakes, palm oil, and fermented oil bean (Ugba). It is commonly seasoned with crayfish, garden eggs and fish. Really Delicious. What’s your favorite local dish?

Tacos, homemade. I make up ground beef, corn and flour tortillas and we use shredded lettuce, canned tomatoes or sometimes fresh and cheese. Sometimes add avocado, salsa or use butter lettuce.

It sounds really good! As for a local dish, I’m not quite sure.

I really like Springfield-style Cashew Chicken. It is a mix of Chinese food with American overtones. It is a local dish, anyway. It was invented about 70 miles/112 km from my home. It is made with white chicken battered and deep fried with a sauce made with cashews and is served on a bed of white rice. (Pretty eats my rice. but I eat the rest of it. ) I haven't had it in about a year but I'd really like to get some soon.
