The mystery of the disappearing Spanish wine.

On this sunny afternoon I sat among my flowers with a glass of wine for a while and bathed myself in all the loveliness. I took the above picture of tulips which have come up nicely, all vibrant and interesting looking. But when I sat down again to enjoy the cool wine under the warm sun I couldn’t find my glass and was a bit mystified. Who took it? The wine was Spanish by the way, not the usual area of the world whose produce I imbibe, but pleasant enough. Not a patch on the wines of Lebanon, Armenia and Georgia which are my preferred tipple. Anyway, the wine was gone. I looked everywhere and since I was home alone I had no-one to blame. It was only later that I located the errant vintage when I looked at my picture of tulips. There the glass was in among the flowers, and you’ll see it for yourself if you expand the picture. I don’t think I’ll be finishing off the contents when I retrieve the glass tomorrow.

That's funny. Sometimes things disappear in the oddest places.

I can see the glass. We lost the lid of the tub of cream the other day. Vince had sat a cake on top of it and it had stuck to the cake so disappeared when I put the cake in a container.
