Firefighters from the Broward Fire Rescue and the Hallandale Police Department teamed up to rescue a woman named Diana and her male dog Cookie who fell into the Intercoastal Waterway seawall on Thursday.
Diana had jumped into the canal in an attempt to rescue her dog Cookie who fell int the canal by accident.
The police officers and firefighters lowered a ladder from the seawall as the firefighters were able to rescue both Diana and her dog from the canal safe and sound.
Thank goodness that both Diana and Cookie were not injured in the incident which was ruled an accident since Cookie fell into the canal and Diana fell into the canal by accident since she was walking her dog near the canal at the time of the accident.

I would have done what Diana did if it were my dog, Danie.

That is true since walking some dogs can be dangerous since some huge dogs are pretty strong.
