“Msisi” Tree Variety and “Neem” Tree Variety seem to have same growth

A young eucalyptus tree seeming to grow double the speed of indigenous ones in my farm

These are indigenous trees in our country. Having observed them grow, I think they have the same growth rate. They are also preferred by most carpenters because they are softwood and easy to work upon. They are unlike Eucalyptus that grows pretty swiftly but turns out to be too hard to work upon by carpenters because it produces hardwood. Eucalyptus is exotic and its wood is commonly preferred by roofers and charcoal makers.

Pine is a softwood too and is often used here for various projects.

True. But pine and cypress are rare here. It seems the do not adapt well with our climate. Mostly take very long to mature and are prone to diseases.
