Got a little girl stsying with my sister and I love her so much. But she has a father that don't want to take financial responsibility of this said child. And I believe it is all Wrong. My sister brought her in to care for her as her mom who is a church member is very sick. We are been looking to make her father assist financially to no avail. How can we handle this to have a better outcome?

You can enlist child services on your side and ask them to sue the man to make him pay child support. But, that only works if you have legal custody of the child. It doesn't work if you don't have a legal claim on the girl.

@augusta123 Not all fathers do that. I was a single father. Pretty's mom refused to pay child support. I only asked the judge to make her pay $75 a month to pay for Pretty's health insurance and she refused to even pay that much. So the judge ruled that she had to pay $375 a month in child support. She wouldn't pay that, either, so I had to ask child services to help me get the child support she was supposed to pay. Pretty is 38 years old and her mom still owes me for the last two years of child support.

I hope you’re able to find a way to hold him accountable, but no matter what, what you’re doing right now truly matters.
I’m really glad she has you and your sister — not every child gets that kind of love and stability, and it truly matters.

My sister is a very kind person, she just took pity on the girl and helped her because she a very intelligent and smart and she loves anything educational.
Her father has just refused to help the child.

@augusta123 I don't know how things would work, as I haven't been in this situation. There has to be something that can be done.

The only thing you can do is let them hold the baby and let them decide from that moment forward. Most just chicken and like I am not ready for this.

@augusta123 That's actually kind of different, if he is keeping the child you should be giving him financial support. That's how it works now.
