I came to know about Casey Kasem who became a voice of American Top 40 and other shows.
He transformed the landscape of music broadcasting with the debut of "American Top 40" in 1970.
His signature delivery, characterized by a warm tone and "human interest" stories about the artists, bridged the gap between the charts and the listeners.
Beyond the countdown, Kasem’s versatility shone through his voice-over work, most notably as Shaggy in "Scooby-Doo".
He mastered the art of the "teaser" and the "long-distance dedication," creating a personal connection with millions.
His catchphrase, "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars," remains an iconic piece of American cultural history.
Info taken from some articles and "American Top 40" Official Archives.
