I was preparing to come to work this morning when I saw my neighbor pacing up and down close to my door. I asked her what the problem was and she narrated everything to me crying.. in my words " I have been sick for a long time( that part I'm aware of).. been unable to eat or sleep. My husband and kids are less caring. Instead of taking care of me, they expect me to take care of them. I find it hard to sleep. My husband compounds the problem by watching videos on his phone in the bedroom while I'm trying to get some sleep..." She went on and on. She can't eat regular foods. She has few choices of food.. doctors recommendation. She can't eat what her family is eating. The few choices she has, they want to eat out of it. She has lost a lot of weight and she was crying. I just stood there speechless. I told her not to let that weigh her down because it would compound her problem . Her eldest kid is almost 20.
