Yes, I am actually on here on a Monday and not starting on a Tuesday. I'm trying to get a different routine down where I work at least a little online before I start on the house work. Everything is going well and it's all bittersweet. The back porch is almost finished. It just needs cleaned and sealed now. It's absolutely beautiful and my dad would have loved it. We stepped out on it yesterday and tried to arrange things in our heads how we're placing things. We're going to put a table and some chairs out. Hubby wants to make it so I can read out there when it's nice. So I'm looking forward to it. We're moving the grills down a bit so they're not quite in front of the door but not all the way down at the other end of the porch either. He has the front porch to touch up, wash and paint. We did say we're going with purple because daddy and I had talked about it before he went back in the hospital for the last time and we had agreed. It was for the Ravens and the Vikings and mom's favorite color. Saturday we had training. There was a lot of hose laying and did I mention it was freaking hot in full turn out gear. Just saying. After training we went up to Crossville to see Misty. Our most trusted dealership saleswoman, love her so much. I walked away with my "forever" car. A brown jeep grand cherokee that is actually so dark that it looks black. I am so in love with this car. This is the one that will get the lights and siren in it once we have a little money put back. Sunday was supposed to be a day of rest however, we took a few containers of books up to grams and hubby grilled. I made gummy bears and sausage balls. The department meeting was in the afternoon so that was interesting. What felt worse was when I had to tell our assistant chief that somehow our milage logs disappeared. He had to give us another stack but was not happy. I wasn't happy. We were even. Today is so much more fun....not. I could have gotten a shift at EMS today however I have a dentist appointment at 9:40 and we have our last required in person training session for CASA tonight at 5pm. I've already changed our bedding, started the last of the laundry and cleaned our bathroom sink. At some point I will be bagging the books left on this one bookcase in the bedroom to take up to grams. I will be dropping them off either on the way to the dentist or on the way back. Then I have to rearrange the empty ones that are in here so we can rearrange the bed. It's complicated lol. I also have a sink full of dishes to get done along with wanting to make another batch of gummy bears and sausage balls. There's a few things that I want to get done for the shop. Like the temp tattoos for the Fourth of July. I have the blankets in the works that I want to work on today at some point. Probably after the dentist because I know this is going to hurt. I'm still reading Crossroads by Carrie Ann Ryan. I'm almost finished it but the weekend was occupied. I got back from the dealership and had a migraine so we pretty much had dinner and went to bed, then yesterday by the time we finished everything we were just so tired it was another early night. Today there will be a little bit of everything and I'm happy with that. What is everyone else doing today? I have to go out and take care of all the cats then it's back to work for me.
