Monday Random Coffee Talk

Happy Monday Everyone! the sun is starting to peek out after a cloudy morning. Supposed to be a warm day with plenty of sunshine so I'm hoping it's true. My daughter has a few zoom meetings today so I have to be quiet. Nothing worse than her being on a zoom and me running the vacuum or blasting my Jellyroll playlist on Alexa. I made my breakfast (English Muffin with cream cheese & jam) and poured my second cup of coffee so I'm ready to chat for awhile. On Saturday my daughter and I took the dog for a short walk around the corner. We did it only to be nosey and see which realtor is selling the house behind us. Of course I went online to see what the selling price is as well as look at all the pictures of the inside. She really has her house decorated nicely, beautiful furniture and everything is almost staged for showing. Maybe she did stage it but regardless I think it will sell fast. The lady is elderly and a widow. Her husband passed away a few years ago so I'm kind of surprised she stayed as long as she did living all by herself. They were good neighbors so it's always a bit scary not knowing how new neighbors will be especially since her house is diagonally behind mine. I have a donation pick-up scheduled for Thursday so I have a few more days to add to the boxes before I close them up. Spring cleaning is underway Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday and has something to smile about even if it's just something small.

Yes, it’s always a little iffy when you don’t know who is going to be your new neighbor. Hopefully, they fit in well with the neighborhood.

The last few houses that sold near mine sold to families with kids so it's nice hearing them playing outside. I'm happy I moved here and not into some stuffy senior citizen community

I didn't know you were a big Jellyroll fan. He is very popular. You know I had to check out the guy down the streets house..it is not under contract yet, but I think they have stopped having the daily open houses. There is one across the street from him that is under contract though. I always thought that house looked neat, it looks like a large log cabin.

I love Jellyroll and his music touches my soul My favorite is Hard Fought Heartfelt Hallelujah that he sings with Brandon Lake Glad I'm not the only one who checks out houses when they go up for sale We had one here that wasn't even on the market for a week and it sold. I'm not looking to sell but it's nice to see prices going up and people getting what they're asking.

Just now
I do the same thing. When a house near me goes up for sale I search it on the internet and browse the details and photos.
