Russia - Ukraine Ceasefire - a relief to third world countries

The recent decision by Russia and Ukraine to halt their war so as to observe the Orthodox Easter weekend was sort of a blessing to the third world countries, Kenya included. Though not openly confessing, most third world countries have been facing a tough time for the entire that Russia and Ukraine were at war. Kenya for instance suffered reduced supply of wheat and fertilizer, making local prices to go up. Our wish is to see the ceasefire turn eternal. Peace brings relief and progress.

I hadn't heard about the cease-fire. It would be good if the countries could just stop fighting but I don't suppose that is going to happen. Our farmers are likely to be short of fertiliser shortly.

@SIDIKIMPOLE I think it does. I do know the war situation is impacting on fertiliser supplies as well as fuel supplies.

@JudyEv Our case is already getting out of hand as many petrol stations do not have any fuel left.

You mean your country also imports fertilizer from the war torn region?!
