No, never. Instead, I had decided to resign from my job to start a small business of my own, and my boss was insisting me not to resign

It's can be really frustrating especially if you've not seen another job

I never have been sacked. I usually have stayed at places a long time if I like the work. Maybe they liked not having to hire new people.

I have only been employed twice in my entire existence in this world. And I quit and wasn't sacked at all in both jobs.

I have more than once. It is not a good feeling. Nobody takes a job expecting to be fired.

Oh, yes, I've been sacked a number of times. The funniest reason was when I was 18, and someone complained about me being friendly (as in, joking) wiith the regulars at the store I worked at. I was told to stop, and I did...and the people who I joked with complained that I wasn't joking anymore.
Most of the time I've "lost" a job was because of working for a temp agency and the job either ended or they offered me a full-time job and I didn't take it.
