To Make it a Day

Today was a holiday in the school. So the Familia school children were at home. Their foster mother was at home as well. A holiday in the school means more work for us. Bengali school children have been languishing at home for about 15 days already. Central security forces have occupied their classrooms. Security forces ? Yes, security forces have been stationed in their school in view of the forthcoming assembly elections in Bengal. Let teaching go to dogs! Central leaders and their party are bent on winning these elections by hook or crook! Bringing the forces nearly 55 days before the voting dates ( April 23 and 29) is just a part of the malicious plan.
Those are matters much beyond my say. What I can do is doing the best to save the day for myself and the foster home children.
As usual, I led the children through their morning workout. After they had had their glass of milk and bread , we sat together to revise their lessons. Next we cleaned the surroundings of the fallen leaves.
I planted a moringa branch in my new compound. Perhaps many in the mylot community know that this is the right time to plant moringa branches to grow new trees.
Now the night has fallen. I look back to see if the day has been saved from being fully lost!

These interruptions must impact a lot of your routine. I hope the elections go well but I know there is a lot of corruption there.
