My two ducks came to meet me at the gate

This evening of 14.04.2026 I happened to get home a little later than usual. It was already nightfall as I entered my gate. To my amazement, I saw two ducks come towards the entrance. When they approached me, they stopped as though to report something to me. I took a photo before they turned to lead the way. They were rather in hurry as I could not keep with their pace. I found them shortly later waiting at the door, quacking in low tones as though expressing their annoyance. I wonder what was going through the birds’ minds. I locked them up and returned to the cyber. There’s some work I have to submit before midnight. I will try to get home earlier tomorrow.

Ducks are naturally humble, geese are the ones you should be scared of

Hahahah that's so cute. I think ducks are the only animal that can do everything, can swim, fly, walk everything.

They are very friendly, as long as they are fed and supplied with sufficient water
