We are going to one of our holiest city, Puri, by train.
Since 2017 this is the first time we are travelling by train. I wanted to go to Puri by car, but my father said this time he wanted to go there by train. My mother wanted the same, too.
After 9 years we are travelling by train. It feels like a new experience.

No, I had taken bus tickets, but my mother insisted to go back by train and I had to cancel the reservation in the bus. We went back to the hotel again and stayed there.We caught the train the next day.

@valherma00 I think , about 6 to 7 hours Puri is around 409 kms from here.

Thank you. We have just arrived Puri. Time is 4.25 pm. Tonight we will stay at a hotel. We can visit the temple at night also, but there is a heavy crowd of devotees there. So we have decided to go to the temple in the morning.

@sarik1 Most people can't travel by plane, because they don't have money. So what?? I don't think it's necessary. If you have no money, you can go there by train or bus. I had travelled by plane way back in 2012.

We have already got four seats reserved. Our trains are very comfortable. You can get tea , breakfast, lunch everything here.
