What's for din? April 15th, 2026

We had intended to go by one of the little mom and pop places and bring home fried shrimp for dinner. Well we got there, and they weren't even open. So it was time for plan B.
Luckily there's another mom and pop place in town. It's Ed's Restaurant. Also known as Ed's Tastee Freeze. If you are old like me, then you know what Tastee Freeze is/was.
Anyway they were thankfully open. It's been a few months since we've been there and it smelled so good while we were waiting on our food.
So we got food to go. The main thing is the pub burger, which is a 1/3 pound hand pattied burger. Chris and his mom got bacon pub burgers and fries. I got the southwestern pub burger and fries. Which meant my burger was a bacon pub burger with a southwestern sauce and jalapenos. She child got a cheesburger and fries and he child got chicken fingers.
So there are no dishes for tonight and everyone is fed and happy.
So that's what was for dinner here. What was for dinner at your house?

@thislittlepennyearns Saaaame. And not because of The Golden Girls. Though I do make my jokes lol.
But my nephew's birthday was Monday, and that's what he wanted. Excellent choice lol.
