Have you ever received money in your account in error?

In many places in the world, some people receive money sent to their accounts in error. While some refund such money. others refund part of it and many dont refund the money at all. Have you ever experience receiving money in error and what did you do about it?

Yes, years ago , but it was removed again within 24 hours ….

No, but I have heard about this happening here, and then charges being pressed against the person if they spend it. And, in the stories I’ve read, the people do end up spending some of it.

Yes, it happened my credit card company credited my account with more than $ 2,000 that were not mine. I told them to check and remove the credit.

No, that never happened to me, but if it did, I would let my bank or credit card company know immediately.
