Sickened By The Tragic News of 8 Children Killed in Mass Shooting This Morning

10 people total were actually shot, but so far 8 children who were shot have died. Their ages range from 1 to 14. This happened in Shreveport, Louisiana (USA). It was some sort of domestic situation. Some of the children killed were the shooter's own family. The bad guy went to 3 separate houses on the same block to shoot people. The suspect fled, carjacked a vehicle and then was killed by police after being chased by police. I'm just speechless over this. More news and details will come out as to motive, relationship of the shooter to those shot, what the domestic dispute was, etc. as this story evolves.

I just read this, and figured it would show up on Mylot. I’m not for advocating ever harming one’s self, but I sure wish people would take on this hate and conflict on themselves, and not anyone else.

I read of this a little while ago. Then it was on the news just now. Very, very disturbing and so terrible. What did those babies do to deserve to die like that? Domestic disputes are the most dreaded calls that law enforcement get, but I am sure you are aware of that since your husband is a retired policeman. Our world is just so upside down. And things like this are, as you say, very upsetting.

I saw this online. It makes me feel sick. I mean, why children? Wish the shooter had just killed himself and let everyone else alone.
