Do you know anybody with synasthesia?

Synathesia is the quality of being able to see words or numbers in color. My mother in law had this. She saw colors associated with names, and numbers both I think. It is estimated up to 4 percent of people have this phenomenon. It is associated with different neural connections. I think they have more of them. It seems as though it would be a fun ability to have.

There was a woman I know at this medical thing I went to that had that, and who could “taste” names. I had to ask her about mine, and she said it tasted like a cherry slush.
