Meeting the Mothman

I was researching online as usual and found some interesting things you could see on a road trip. One of them is known as the Mothman in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who supposedly terrorized this town. Yet, they set up a statue to him. Odd, isn’t it?
In the story about the Mothman, he was 6 feet tall, had a barrel chest, huge wings, and his eyes glowed red, but since he had no head or neck, the eyes appeared to glow from his chest. Then he would give out a high-pitched squeal, and supposedly over 100 people in the town saw him.
Finally, he stopped terrorizing the town when a local bridge collapsed and killed dozens of people. Was it the Mothman's fault? Who knows, but he did help the economy of the town since then; local people sell Mothman souvenirs, there is a Mothman museum, and there is a statue of him in the downtown business district.
If you’re interested I found a short video about the Mothman.

@RasmaSandra I really, really want bigfoot to be true, somewhere out in the forests. Wouldn't that be great?

@DaddyEvil almost the same thing in Europe; it's the yeti in the snow mountains. Wouldn't mind meeting one. Do you remember they had a TIV show Harry and the Hendersons where a Bigfoot lived with a family?

@RasmaSandra It’s not bad, and after reading your post I can understand some of the plot points.

@Ineeddentures I guess about these things; you never know unless you yourself suddenly run into one of them.
