Update on Amazon account …..flipping hackers …..

I have just spoken to a lovely young man from Amazon who has taken all my details and found my account. Doesn’t know how or why the email has been changed. No one has tried to place an order. No phone number was connected . They are going to get in touch with me within 24 hours. Then hopefully the problem will be sorted out. I’m pleased I found out in time ….. I’m guessing as soon as they realised there was no card linked and they would have to pay for the stuff themselves they didn’t bother continuing !

I'm glad Amazon is sorting it out for you. You're lucky you didn't have a debit or credit card attached to your account. I only add money to my Amazon account if I'm going to buy some books or something.

@DaddyEvil that’s what I thought …at least I haven’t lost much ……and maybe won’t have lost what little there was anyway !

@AmbiePam ….ive had the account with Amazon for many years and nothing like this has ever happened before …..hopefully by this time tomorrow it will have been sorted.

@toniganzon …I do hope so. I have an order to send….i won’t keep much money in my account from now on though ….just top it up when I need to buy something.
