The Crimson Eye Got Me Worried

Just before I leave today for work, my mother's eye caught me off guard. Oftentimes, we are afraid with our mother when she glared as if wanting to eat us alive. We become quiet don't usually say anything. Her left eyes turn bloodshot that I throw a lot of question to her of what happened? I was so worried when I saw her eyes, she was at the store kitchen cooking so I have thought a hot oil accidentally splashed into her eyes. But then, she said that she only rub it because it feels so itchy when she woke up this morning. I didn't believe her so I said, I usually seen eyes like that happen due to stress but not as red as that. She assure me that she'll go see a doctor. While I'm at work, I chatted my two younger sibling who among them saw our mother's eye this morning. They responded the same, saw it already bloody red and got the same answer from our mother to what happened. I spent most of my time monitoring through call and chat with my siblings who's with my mother. Thankfully, my younger bro chatted. I almost crack up while looking at my phone screen eventually all my worries have gone and turn to "I want to knock your head" while smiling. My bro send a close up photo of our mother looking funny while showing her red eyes while he told me that the check up result is nothing to worry about. There's only a blood vessel in the eyes that swell due to irritation and my mother's white eye surface turn everything crimson because she rub it. The doctor prescribed her some med and a eye drop. The photo was from my cousin she sent it to me last March 3 when she captured the blood moon.

I'm glad your mother is fine and hope the meds and drops clear up her eye quickly. My right eye got sore and turned really red about a year ago. The doctor said it was from irritation and prescribed new eye drops for me. My eye cleared right up. The doctor told me to keep using the eye drops but in both eyes since my eyes are always dry. It makes them feel better, at least.

My eyes would get so dry when I used to wear contacts. I had to use eye drops just about every day! Since I stopped wearing them, I don't have that problem any more.

@AliCanary The Graves' Disease make my eyes dry all the time. I use prescription Restasis twice a day in them.

I like the picture, but am SO glad your mother’s eye is alright. It sounds like it looked very alarming.

IT's good to know your mom's eye is okay after all. At first, I thought you were just kidding, but then I continued reading.
