Here is a photo we had captured at the Puri beach. We took many photos, but it is perhaps not possible to share all of them.

I have heard of Puri Beach but never been there. We try to visit India every 1 to 3 years because of our ancestral connection with the country. What did you like most about Puri Beach? Are there places nearby to buy food? How does the place look at night - lots of movement?

@Shivram59 I believe they do, but we cannot trace them. Our ancestors came to Mauritius over a century ago. It's quite hard to trace the exact relatives, but I know that they are from Bihar.

@excellence7 I understand. We are originally from UP. My grandpa migrated to Odhisa a century ago. That was the time when railway tracks were being laid from Chhattisgarh to Odhisa He had to walk to Odhisa. At one station he worked as a labour supplier, but finally left the job and came here. Here he started the business of selling condenced milk. Our relatives are still in UP.

Thank you. I like everything about the beach. The blue water stretched to the horizon, the hotels near it and waves that comes to the shore from thousands of miles. You can have all kinds of food there near the beach. Surprised and glad to know you have ancestral connections with India. Do your relatives still live in India??

@DianneN I love walking along the beach, but my parents can't. They tried, but got tired. Even my wife could not walk there.

Sea beach near Puri is joy doubled for people go there to visit the Jagannath temple. Quite many people from all over the country go there to make a pilgrimage but staying in a resort beside the sea and enjoy the evening breeze is thrilling!

Thank you. The Jagannath temple is famous in the world, and so is the beach in Puri. It's one of the holiest shrines of us Hindus. I have come here many times. Did you ever come here and visited the temple and the beach??

Thank you. We stayed at a hotel just in front of the beach for one and a half day. We could have stayed longer, but can't afford to keep the shop shut for more than two or three days. Hope you understand.
