I found on the BBC Learning English, and of course, I can't find the link anymore. It is about the STAR method to be able to talk about yourself in an organized fashion. S - situation Tell the general situation, and then give details about it, The facts. T - Task What did you have to do. Give facts A - Action What did you do in the situation and the task. Was it difficult or easy? R - Result What was the final result - You solved the problem, or helped the boss solve a problem. I hope that this helps you in your next Job Interview

This could also be used if you have a six month evaluation by your boss too!

The best thing is he or she is good at speaking and writing the English language. That includes what you had mentioned. But then, it depends on what kind of position title the person is applying for.

This method is a way to organize your thoughts when talking about a situation that happened in the past. As a teacher, I have had to coach many people whose "stories" about their work are not in a logical sequence. So, this method of thinking might help someone who would do a good job but is not good at speaking about themselves. I hope that this can help you if you are going to be looking for a new job soon!
