Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad

My dad was born on April 23, 1905, so today would have been his 121st birthday. He was born in the countryside of Latvia in the Ranka region. At this time spring has sprung, and on his father’s farm plowing would have begun and soon seeds would be sown. A lovely time, and with a new baby, they would have been very happy. Who could have known that Eriks Osvalds Raisters would become a popular Latvian poet and writer? I could not give Dad a present, but he reversed the situation, and I cashed out $5 on a survey site.
The happy time is marked by letting cows out for the first time after the winter. I did not find Latvian cows but I did find Dutch cows and the scene. Is the same and makes me smile.

It's good to remember our loved ones, especially on their special day. It sounds like he was a wonderful Dad to you. Today is my special aunt's birthday, she would have been 99, born in 1927, Our special people are not forgotten by those of us who loved them.
